Civil Engineer – EIT / Soil Evaluator

We are seeking a motivated **Civil Engineer** to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can manage projects from proposal through completion while working collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment.

**Responsibilities:**

* Manage civil/site projects from initial proposal, through design and permitting, to final completion.
* Prepare design plans and technical reports for **stormwater management, commercial site development, and subdivision projects**.
* Perform site evaluations, fieldwork, and soil testing as a **Massachusetts Soil Evaluator**.
* Collaborate with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies to deliver efficient, high-quality solutions.
* Utilize engineering software tools (AutoCAD, HydroCAD, Carlson) for project design and analysis.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
* **Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required**.
* **Massachusetts Soil Evaluator certification required**.
* 1–3 years of professional experience in civil/site design (preferred).
* Proficiency in **AutoCAD, HydroCAD, and Carlson Software**.
* Strong knowledge of **stormwater design, subdivision design, and commercial site layout**.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
